Over the last 125 years, the Lord has used Salem to proclaim the good news of Jesus to Dobson and Surry County. In 2014, we as a church took a step of obedience to God’s calling and were able to launch Salem Christian Academy (SCA). Since beginning with a preschool class of only a handful of children, SCA has grown and multiplied its ministry opportunities by providing biblically-based education for kids from preschool through eighth grade, with plans to further expand ministry and education options each year.

In addition to the physical space that it takes to educate over 120 children during the week, we recognize that we need additional space to provide small group and Sunday School class gatherings. In the past years, classes have compromised and sacrificed by meeting in the gym, church offices, and even the downstairs elevator lobby.

Accomplishing an increase in ministry and reaching our community with the Gospel must include expanding our facilities. God has provided us with opportunity and resources, now it’s time for us to trust Him and move forward!
