On Mission Wednesdays

Get the WORD out this Wednesday at Salem!

On Mission Wednesdays creates an atmosphere that challenges believers to put their faith into action by serving through ministries and taking advantage of evangelism and outreach opportunities. Salem offers a range of opportunities that benefit children, youth, and adults.

AWANA Clubs

Kids 2 years old through 4th Grade participate in AWANA on Wednesdays. Kids meet for an opening rally in the Multi-Purpose Building and then transition to their respective classes. During the night, kids will be equipped through Bible teaching, Scripture memorization, and great recreation!

Preteens meet on Wednesday for IGNITE on the top floor of the Multi-Purpose Building.

Student Ministry (Youth)

Wednesday night is the highlight of Salem Student Ministry for 7th to 12th Grade students. Students can arrive at hangout over games and snacks in the Youth Room with student leaders. During their time together students will worship together and be discipled through teaching from God’s Word by Salem’s Minister to Students.

Adults

Wednesdays provide opportunities for believers to live "On Mission" at Salem. Every week, we challenge our body to be on mission by serving in AWANA or Student Ministry, rehearsing with the Worship Choir or Worship Team, or participating in a Bible Study/Evangelism and Outreach rotation. Each group begins at 6:30 PM.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”  – Matthew 28:18-20
